Totally A-Maze-ing
Have you seen this stamp set from Stampin’ Up! that was in the last mini-catalogue (spring 2012)?
Need some ideas for cards? I had purchased a few of the plastic maze games from the catalogue, thinking they would be cute! And they are. In combination with the matching stamp set, Totally A-Maze-ing, you can make some great cards for just about any occasion.
Here is my first maze card – the sentiment and plastic maze are from Stampin’ Up! I made a background by embossing cardstock with a Spellbinders M-Bossabilities embossing folder, sanding, and adding some machine stitching, border punch strips and pearls. The little birdie is from Maya Road – isn’t he cute?
I used the same ideas here – embossed cardstock with a Spellbinders embossing folder, and added a stamped maze and sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! set, with some bits of lace, punched photo corners and hearts.
Then, since I was at a weekend crop, I passed the stamp to my friend Kim Gowdy, and she made a couple of cards. Beautiful and completely different than what I created.
And then, not quite done, I asked Jayme Loge to make a maze card too…… love it!!!
Isn’t it neat the way you can get complete different looks with the same maze concept?
