This week was super crazy with getting things ready for my son’s graduation and both my daughters were in provincial sport competitions. So, when I needed a gift for a friend quick I turned to my Fancy Pants Designs patterned papers to make a cute picture for her because I know that she loves birdies…..and so do I! I love how easy this was, but at the same time, super cute.

Supplies: Fancy Pants Designs and Bazzill Basics patterned paper,  Helmar adhesive, Ikea frame, unknown buttons. (I kept the glass from the picture frame off so there is no reflection when I snapped the photo.)

I really wanted to paint, ink or colour on this piece, not because it needed it, but because that is what I usually do.  I decided that I adored the clean lines of the paper images and the colours already suited the palette that I needed. Sometimes simple is just right!!! I did have to hide all my paint brushes while doing this piece!!
