Hello, Connie Nichol here today. I personally am a cold weather wimp (my idea of winter sports is to read a book in front of the fireplace) but I was thrilled when my youngest son wanted to take ski lessons. I managed to grab a few pictures on the hill. The Snow Patrol patterned papers and stickers from Simple Stories were perfect for putting together a scrapbook layout and I used a couple of stamps from the Let it Snow Snowman stamp set from Quietfire Design for the page title and snowflake border. I used Tombow Markers to colour the stamped images and add a bit of a watercolour effect, then added some sparkle with Stickles Glitter Glue from Ranger. Just be sure to put the Stickles on as your last step because it takes a little bit of time to dry. It is worth the wait. The Stickles bottle has a very fine tip allowing precise application of the glitter, even on someting as delicate as the calligraphic title.
Supplies Used: Simple Stories patterned paper and stickers, Core’dinations cardstock, Quietfire Design stamps, Tombow Markers, Stickles glitter glue, Brother sewing machine, Clearsnap ink, May Arts ribbon, Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L tape runner and Beacon Adhesives Fabri-Tac liquid glue.
Happy New Year everyone!
